Zac du Foulon

Residential complex in the new central area of Perpignan railway station (France)

This residential complex in the new central area of Perpignan railway station will complete the urban fabric from the station, maintaining a unit with the other existing properties. To control the scale of the urban area it is approached with fractioned volumes fitting together, always working the blocks from the four façades to avoid the appearance of front walls. The houses (distributed in 3 groups) occupy seven blocks, around new public areas joined by the new boulevard. The end result is a new landscape that merges with the neighbourhood through neutral, quality architecture that includes the use of glass, aluminium and stone.
