The 'West Lots' are 8 blocks away from North Beach on Collins Avenue (opposite the Shore Open Space Park), one of the last free spaces on the privileged Miami Beach waterfront.
The proposal, which is structured along a high pedestrian walkway overlooking the park and the sea, integrates public facilities such as library, sports and educational facilities in the three central blocks. The hotel, being the highest space, will be located at the southern end, while the remaining blocks will house residential buildings of medium height. The ground floors will be allocated to shopping and dining, encouraging walking; it is intended to be a public space of reference for art, gastronomy, music and social interaction, in one of the country’s most filmed cities.
