Torre Spínola

The fifteen-floor high tower on Marcelo Spínola street, overlooking the M-30, required an update both in its appearance –the dated tiered volumetrics fragmented excessively the façade surface– and in its interior –with serious deficiencies in its technica

Committed to a bioclimatic approach, this refurbishment achieves, in addition to a BREEAM sustainability certification, a more efficient opera - tion in the service and access elements. Eliminating the old bevelling on the floorplan and rethinking the position of the east staircase, improves the efficiency of the open-plan office space. Turning the staircase piece also creates a new clean and uniform façade plane, resulting in a much sharper and recognizable volume towards the highway.
