The superposition of the façade and different material surfaces achieves a more dynamic and changing visual effect for the building, depending on the incidence of light and the point of view from which it is observed.
Located in the town of L'Hospitalet de Llobregat – close to another L35 project – halfway between the airport and the center of Barcelona, this tall residential facility is part of an ambitious urban project that started in 2000.
The building consists of 17 floors, 77 housing units – 5 per floor – with 2, 3 and 4 bedrooms, set around the building's vertical core, with a swimming pool on the roof. Its configuration, a concrete prism with a square base, on which the terraces are perfectly integrated, is complemented by the care taken with the surroundings: the use of glass and steel increases the lightness and slenderness of the tower.
