This residential building in a new development located in the Patraix District in Valencia, proposes spacious homes using unique and flexible design.
The massing is not fixed, as the idea is to allow the block to be built to measure, offering a range of layout solutions. The proposal takes advantage of a special regulation that allows cantilevering the volumes up to 1 m, compensated with equivalent recesses in the facades - designed with gray brick and fixed wooden slats that provide shade and privacy. Sensitive to the environment and focused on energy efficiency criteria, the project confronts the repetition of housing typologies trough prefabrication and a modular approach that will minimize construction time, waste generation and the use of natural resources.
