Modon Golf Town New Cairo redefines the concept of contemporary community within the context of Cairo’s metropolitan expansion.
Modon Golf Town is a large-scale urban development in New Cairo that brings together residential, office, retail and leisure uses within a coherent system where nature and city are interwoven.
The project is structured around The Valley, a major central green ring that acts as the backbone of the masterplan. This continuous landscape — with lakes, sculpted topography, pedestrian routes and a pitch & putt golf course — organizes the different densities and ensures an ongoing relationship between architecture and its surroundings.
The mix of uses fosters proximity and an active urban life, avoiding the conventional zoning typical of large-scale developments. Both multi-family and low-density housing open onto the landscape, prioritising views and a direct connection to green areas, while the commercial district and office park establish dynamic, accessible frontages.
Modon proposes a way of living centred on wellbeing, soft mobility and connection to the natural environment — a contemporary fragment of city where urbanism, architecture and landscape are conceived as a single, integrated strategy.
