Mediterrànea

The Project is located in "Sector Llevant – Façana Marítima", a new zoning area planned to stitch the old town and the early 20th-century urban fabric towards the Es Portixol Port.

Common areas, with a swimming pool and a gym, lay over a retail podium, creating a plaza with private character.

The dwellings cluster in two “L” shaped buildings, with 3 and 6 levels. This composition helps to avoid an enclosure feeling and opens the view towards the sea.

All units hold two façades, with the living areas siding to the south.

The chosen color palette for the building is warm white, between the local marés sandstone and light mortar renders worn in the traditional constructions of the city. Dark hue remarks the volumetric composition.

Louvers and expanded metal mesh panels protect the dwellings from the intense Mediterranean sun.
