The design envisions the creation of a large covered plaza facing the sea to allow taking in the view from a wide, luminous space protected from the wind.
With a new extension to the northwest, L35 has developed a design that aims to turn this complex into the largest shopping and leisure destination in Gran Canaria.
The Mirador Shopping Center stands on a privileged location, a “balcony” over the sea on the GC1 highway, halfway between Las Palmas and the Gran Canaria Airport. The design envisions the creation of a large covered plaza facing the sea to allow taking in the view from a wide, luminous space protected from the wind. The plaza is sheltered by a three-dimensional structure that lends natural light and plasticity. The program is completed with a new basement for about 700 vehicles complementing the existing outdoor parking.
