City Park Leon

This mixed-use complex is located north of León, a city in the Mexican state of Guanajuato, next to the bypass route Boulevard José María Morelos, a national highway.

Starting from its metropolitan scale connections, the project combines the advantages of high density —the creation of a skyline (or high rise urban profile) and the synergies between the different uses— with the creation of a pedestrian area of outstanding environmental quality. The compound is shaped like a large elongated wedge running along the shore of the lake at Los Cárcamos park, with its horizontal development punctuated by several high-rise components.

The route along this path, in which building and landscape integrate, occurs between the two building levels that function as a plinth, with large terraces around a courtyard that brings together the dynamics of retail activity.
