Renovation of La Maquinista Shopping Centre (Barcelona)

La Maquinista Shopping Centre, in the Sant Andreu district of Barcelona, was first opened in 2000. After several refurbishments and extensions, we have just finished the works of the last major renovation.
The main objective was to create a powerful and attractive restaurant pole on the top floor, reducing the areas intended for leisure and moving part of the restoration from the street floor, to create at this level a new fashion mall with major international brands, thus enhancing the offer of the center.
New terraces have been installed and existing ones have been renovated, placing a lot of emphasis on vegetation, creating high quality spaces, much more comfortable and free of visual obstacles, by moving the core of vertical communications.
