This decision reflects our commitment to young talent, the promotion of generational renewal, and the expansion of the firm both internationally and nationally. In recent years, L35 Architects has increased its international presence with significant mixed-use projects in countries such as India, Morocco, Egypt, and France - where it has had an office since 2008 - and in Latin America. Notable projects include the new cultural and sports complex of El Campín in Bogotá and the Bolívar stadium in La Paz. Nationally, the expansion is marked by the opening of a new office in Sotogrande in June 2024, aimed at establishing a strategic base for projects on the Costa del Sol.
Cristina Anglès Farré has experience in commercial and mixed-use projects. Her main interest lies in urban regeneration projects, supported by a Master's in Urban Studies from UCL London. Cristina also possesses skills in the design of ephemeral spaces, exhibitions, and graphic design. She joined L35 Architects in 2015 and has led notable projects such as Italik in Paris and the renovation of the facade of Place des Halles in Strasbourg. She is currently leading the repositioning project of Torre Sevilla, as well as urban renewal projects in Rennes and Italie 2 in Paris.
Borja Fernández del Vallado Fernández-Bravo brings international training and a professional career, having worked in England, Ireland, Morocco, the United Arab Emirates, and Mexico. His international experience provides a broad and original perspective on all the challenges he faces at L35 Architects. Since joining the team in 2017, he has participated in numerous projects and competitions such as the Bernabéu stadium and residential projects in Sotogrande, has driven the communication department, developed luxury residential projects, and collaborated on interior design projects since the creation of the Interior Design Department and the new office in Sotogrande.
We are confident that, in their new roles as partners, Cristina and Borja will continue to drive the growth and success of L35 Architects. Their appointment consolidates a team of 25 partners and more than 200 professionals developing architecture, urban planning, and interior design projects worldwide.
Congratulations to Cristina and Borja. We wish them much success in this new stage of their careers.
