The appointment reflects the firm’s commitment to internal talent and generational renewal, within a context of sustained international expansion, particularly in the Middle East and North Africa, the MENA region, where L35 continues to consolidate its portfolio of clients and projects.
Linked to the studio since 2017, Acón has led masterplans in Europe, India and Egypt, and has taken part in the conception and development of landmark projects, international competitions, and complex mixed-use and residential schemes, helping to consolidate a practice focused on creating urban environments with economic, social and territorial impact.
Among his most significant projects are large-scale developments such as New Kairo, a new district of more than 350 hectares designed for 68,000 people, with its own urban centre, golf course and commercial boulevard articulating the different residential fabrics, and ARTLIFE, one of the largest mixed-use complexes in West Cairo, overlooking the Pyramids of Giza and comprising more than 300,000 square metres of built area.
With this appointment to the partnership team, L35 reinforces its growth model based on the development of internal talent and the consolidation of its presence in strategic markets.
