Grenoble Grand Place Wins the Award of the Federation of Trade Actors in the Territories (FACT),
On the occasion of the 2024 edition of the Siec, the renovation project in Echirolles won in the "Extension and Renovation" category.
The project was the cornerstone of the urban regeneration of a peripheral area of Échirolles, which has now been transformed into a new piece of the city. The 16,000m² extension creates a new urban facade and green terraces with dining areas that open the project to the city, allowing for the colonization of adjacent areas.
The new volume, aligned with the façade of the existing center, consists of a dynamic and transparent base, where the geometry and verticality of its main entrance gives the building an iconic character.
A set of solid and glazed parts runs across the façade, while the large roof windows give a play of light inside the gallery, which is designed on two levels and includes a food court area.
To the north, in the Europe esplanade, the terraces of restaurants will enjoy green areas and new spaces open to the city. The wood ceiling and the light tones of the interior will reinforce the contemporary image of the project.
