Construction work kicks off at Santiago Bernabéu

Real Madrid and the Madrid City Council have given the green light to commence remodeling work on Santiago Bernabéu Stadium. The intervention will transform this legendary stadium into a multifunctional venue, expanding the possibilities of entertainment, culinary and shopping experiences while enhancing the public spaces of the surrounding urban areas.
The fluid and changing shape of the façade comprises a layer of metal panels that will curve and adapt to urban landscaping requirements while also rendering the building uniquely identifiable from any point of view. The remodeling work will be adaptive to tackle the challenge of ensuring the stadium's regular calendar of sporting events.
