Lead high-value interior design for landmark projects

At L35, we design spaces that transform cities and enhance people’s lives. We are looking for a Senior Interior Architect to lead projects in demanding environments with international reach, exposure to multiple typologies (retail, hospitality, workspace, residential), and a strong focus on sustainability (LEED/BREEAM/WELL).

Your role

Full-time position based in Madrid, with high autonomy from concept to completion. You will report to the Head of Interiors (María Cabrera) and work closely with HR, Project Directors, and suppliers.

Key responsibilities

• Coordinate with clients, site management, contractors, and suppliers throughout all project phases.
• Prepare and present impactful proposals with both aesthetic quality and technical accuracy.
• Manage budgets, quantities, procurement, and on-site quality control.
• Select materials, oversee mock-ups, and ensure regulatory compliance (CTE, DB-SI/SUA, accessibility).
• Mentor junior team members and promote best practices in documentation and standards.

Autonomy and decision-making

High autonomy to define the concept, material criteria, and deliverable validation. You’ll play a key role in resource allocation, planning, and coordination with consultants.

How success will be measured (first year)

• ≥95% client satisfaction at key milestones.
• ≥85% concept approval in the first review.
• ≥90% milestones achieved on time and within budget.
• −50% rework in documentation packages vs. initial baseline.
• Mentoring: at least 2 sessions/month with junior profiles.
• ≥4 continuous improvement/standardisation initiatives implemented.

What you’ll need

• Degree in Architecture / Interior Architecture or equivalent.
• ≥3 years of experience in interior design with site involvement (ideally in retail, hospitality, workspace, or residential).
• Proficiency in AutoCAD, Adobe CC, SketchUp (Enscape/3ds Max/Revit valued).
• Knowledge of Spanish building regulations (CTE, DB-SI/SUA, accessibility).
• Spanish C1 and English C1 (French desirable).
• EU work permit and availability for site visits.

What we offer

· Permanent contract. Target salary range: €30,000–€40,000 (depending on experience).
· 23 working days of paid vacation.

Join L35, one of Spain’s leading architecture studios, to strengthen our presence in Sotogrande as a local representation point.

Since 1967, L35 has been designing architecture, urban planning and interior design projects in more than 40 countries.
We participate in complex, large-scale developments — stadiums, retail, urban regeneration, transport — with a collaborative, multidisciplinary and global approach (e.g., Santiago Bernabéu renovation, Roma Termini, among others).

We are looking for a Coordinator to receive, identify and qualify opportunities, and to communicate potential clients’ needs to the partners’ team.

  • Full studio support: partners and technical teams lead proposals, bids and presentations.

  • Studio culture: collaboration between Madrid and Sotogrande, with rigor, continuous learning and teamwork.

What you will do

  • Representation and presence at L35’s Sotogrande office: reception, first contact and basic qualification of needs.

  • Support to business development in the local ecosystem (developers, management firms, funds, hospitality, retail): identify market signals and convey them to the partners.

  • Agenda and internal coordination: organize meetings between identified contacts and partners; prepare pre-meeting briefings.

  • Events and networking: represent L35 at forums and associations; report detected opportunities.

Level of autonomy

All commercial or strategic decisions are validated in advance by the partners.
Your success lies in detecting, qualifying and channeling opportunities; final negotiations are led by management.

  • Meetings scheduled with partners.

  • Monthly market reports and post-event notes.

  • Data quality.

Requirements

  • 5–10+ years of experience in the luxury, real estate and/or interior design sectors (technical profiles who have moved into client or relationship roles are valued).

  • Knowledge of the developer, property/fund and hospitality ecosystem in Andalusia / Costa del Sol.

  • English C1–C2 (mandatory); other languages highly valued.

  • Availability for short business trips.

  • Own vehicle.

What we offer

  • International projects with high-impact references and multidisciplinary teams.

  • Permanent contract (with probation period) and competitive compensation.

  • Full-time position based in Sotogrande with reasonable flexibility.

  • Development path (executive presentation, agenda and representation; consultative sales training).

Selection process (clear and agile)

  • CV review and pre-selection.
