Le Méridien

The retail and cultural complex Le Méridien, built in the 1970s, was the object of an international competition for its extension and full refurbishment. The awarded proposal emphasizes the symbiosis between the pre-existing retail and cultural activities (Scène National Tarbes-Pyrénées) through the creation of a communal entrance arch.
The project includes landscape references with the surroundings and its design enables an energetically efficient complex with low maintenance costs.
