The project includes the extension of a shopping centre and a new pony-riding attraction. The design relies on an orthogonal grid and the major urban axes organizing the Carré to create simple volumes and a series of green spaces.
The general concept of the organization is inspired by the tradition of shops facing the street, creating a promenade directly accessible from the main axes and the parking areas. Designed from an environmentally aware perspective, the buildings employ solar and energy controls and use recyclable materials like the wood on the facades.
The landscape design gives identity to the complex with tree alignments, flower parterres and bushes as well as aromatic and medicinal plants. Much of the green space has been reserved to create special protection zones for the biodiversity of the region.
